Summer Jobs for Youth is designed to help young people aged 15 to 18 who live in high-needs neighbourhoods gain workplace skills through summer employment. The program was expanded last year, meaning more jobs around Ontario for teens who need help getting a summer job. Participants receive job training, paid employment placements from July to August, and support after the job finishes. Participants will be paid for a 35-hour work week while getting training and experience in a job.

This will not only look good on a resume and put some extra cash in your pocket, but also, may help participants figure out what they want to study at college or university and/or what they want your future career to be.

Stay tuned for more info about this year's program.
